The stream of visitors to Ukraine (Russia) with the purpose of finding a woman of their life is endless. It cannot be stopped by economic crisis; it is not affected by seasons or weather, it never fades down even in times of political instability. The anticipation of risk and the "smell" of adventure encourage thousands of Western men to dive into the sweet eccentricity of Eastern-European lifestyle.
The most difficult task for each man is to find HIS woman, the ONLY one that is destined for him. The problem is not new, you'll say — every man has this task, and many never manage find their other half, in their entire lives! Alas, there are so many women
Well, this is true, I know. But those who brave to seek for marriage in a different culture have to go through double risk of facing lack of understanding, which may eventually result in failure. It seems many men realize this.
What makes the men from Western countries come to Ukraine (Russia) again and again then?
I kept asking this question to quite a few men for years, and I think it's time to put together my scattered notes. I won't provide interviews or comments here, I'll just a share a list of the most frequently repeated items. These are the reasons which I heard from dozens of Western men:

the wish to marry a good woman and have a happy family

thrust for adventure and some stress in life

travel, excitement and change of activity

a chance to meet new people

an interesting vacation, when you keep yourself busy, making really exciting meetings every day

a wish to prove to myself that I can find my woman and be happy with her

Whereas, with a woman in western countries allways will be a permanent fight or need to "demonstrate" you are better, younger, richer, etc than the others. Hence, it is much more peaceful and relaxed relation with the "rigth" ukrainian woman.

The women you questioned are right that men make an attempt to run away from themselves, but this is not right to the end. The men who come to Ukraine looking for women try to run from loneliness and boredom. I see nothing bad about this.
