From time to time, I receive letters from men who are not ready to take such a responsibility as marriage, but would like to find a woman for a longterm relationship. Here are a few phrases from different letters -

I do visit Ukraine for a bit of adventure each year. Every time it's a great vacation and a great way to meet new people. I love meeting and making friends with new people, so what's wrong in making friends with beautiful women? I don't make any obligatitons, I simply enjoy getting to know every new girl. Just an evening spent in a Yalta restaurant watching the tide can make me great memories for a whole year ahead.

I am 43, divorced, and I want to meet a woman for vacation travel together, not for marriage. I live by myself, and I am not planning to marry. But I would love to spend my vacations traveling together with a nice, well-educated, kind-hearted woman. Can you help me find such a woman?

My friends and I (4 people) are planning to visit Ukraine this summer. Last September, we had a great 8-day vacation in Odessa. This summer we are thinking about going to Kharkov or Dnepropetrovsk. Can you advise us which city to choose, as we want to visit a few night clubs, bowling places, and we would like to meet women, just to have fun together. We do not want to go to marriage companies, we just want to meet a few women-friends who also like going out together. We would like to spend a few evenings in a great company of new friends. How can we find them?

Well, these are a few of quite many letters which I receive from single men who are not looking for marriage because marriage requires taking responsibility which they are not ready to take. Most of these men eventually find such women, though traditionally, majority of women tend to look for marriage, not just a vacation-and-fun relationship.

I know a single Ukrainian woman who has been in a relationship with a man from Germany for about 15 years now. Each of them lives their own life, but they stay in touch by phone and online daily; and they meet for a week 2-3 times a year, to travel and have a vacation together. They have visited many countries, and they enjoy this lifestyle. During these years, she mastered her German to perfection. Now, they are both thinking about retirement, and will possibly decide to move in and live together some day.
