My story is short. I came to Lugansk to visit a woman who I'd corresponded with for 5 months. She welcomed me with all her heart in her letters (that were interpreted by an agency where I found her profile).
She was charming on the day of our meeting, but I immediately started to feel that she was trying to make benefit of me all the time. She wanted to go everywhere with her interpreter; she demanded that we eat only in particular (very expensive!) restaurants, and she was apparently leading the situation all the time. On the first day this looked charming, the second day I was bored, on the third day I thought I have to take control over the situation. As soon as I did this, she told me she had to leave the city urgently, and the relationship was stopped.
I had quite a stressful time then, but now I am thankful. Because now, 2 years later, I have a wonderful Russian wife - the woman who was our interpreter in that agency! I love Russian interpreters! :-)
